A favorite morning starter! This great-tasting, reduced-sugar version of the original muffin is sweetened with Truvia Sweet Complete® Granulated All-Purpose Sweetener and has 26% fewer calories* and 89% less sugar* than the full-sugar version. Recipe makes 12 muffins.

  • 1 cup (240mL) Truvía® Sweet Complete Granulated All-Purpose Sweetener

  • 1 ½ cup (350mL) all-purpose flour

  • 1 Tbsp (15mL) baking powder

  • 14 tsp (2mL) salt

  • 13 cup (80mL) canola oil

  • 1 egg**

  • 1 cup (240mL) skim milk

  • ½ tsp (3mL) vanilla extract

  • ¾ cup (180mL) blueberries; fresh or frozen

    Gather all the ingredients; preheat oven to 205°C (400°F).

    Combine flour, baking powder, Truvía® Sweet Complete All-Purpose Sweetener, and salt in medium bowl.

  • 3.

    Combine milk, egg, oil and vanilla in a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.

  • 4.

    Add dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredient mixture. Stir until mixed. Do not over mix.

  • 5.

    Fold in blueberries.

  • 6.

    Divide batter into paper-lined muffin cups.

  • 7.

    Bake for 22-25 minutes until tops are lightly browned.
