Anthony's Citrus Syrup Recipe with Truvía® Original Sweetener

A brilliant twist on simple syrup adds a zingy hit to mocktails, cocktails, even plain old sparkling water without adding any calories. This citrus syrup sweetened with Truvía® Original Sweetener has 100% fewer calories* and 100% less sugar* per serving compared to the full-sugar version. The flavor is at its delicious best within two days of mixing. Makes 8 servings.

  • 1 cup (250 mL) water

  • 14 cup (50 mL) Truvía® sweetener, spoonable*

  • 12 whole orange, sliced thinly

  • 12 whole lemon, sliced thinly

  • 1 whole lime, sliced thinly

  • 1.

    Place all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan, stir.

  • 2.

    Heat on high heat, bring to a boil.

  • 3.

    Remove from heat, allow to cool completely.

  • 4.

    Pour syrup through a strainer to remove fruit. Press the fruit slices with the back of a large spoon to squeeze out juice and syrup. Discard pressed fruit.

  • 5.

    Pour syrup into a jar with lid and store refrigerated. Shake before using.
