Garlic Aioli Recipe with Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend

1 tsp (5 mL) cornstarch
1 tsp (5 mL) vegetable broth
1⁄4 cup (60 mL) hot water
2 eggs
1⁄2 tsp (2.5 mL) salt
2 tsp (10 mL) Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend
1⁄2 tsp (2.5 mL) mustard powder
4 tsp (20 mL) lemon juice
1 tsp (5 mL) finely minced garlic
1⁄2 tsp (2.5 mL) black pepper
3⁄4 cup (180 mL) vegetable oil
Directions

In a small sauce pan, combine cornstarch and vegetable broth, mix until forms a paste.

Add the hot water and mix until well combined.

Heat, on medium heat, for 2 minutes or until the texture thickens. Stir often.
- 4.
Refrigerate to cool and to be used later.
- 5.
In a blender cup, add eggs, salt Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend, mustard power, lemon juice, garlic and pepper.

Pulse blender for seconds 4-5 times.
- 7.
Scrape down.Turn blender on low and slowly drizzle oil in. One all the oil has been incorporated and aioli thickens, turn off blender.
- 8.
Transfer to sealable wide mouth container.
- 9.
Once starch solution is cooled, stir it into aioli.
- 10.
Store in refrigerator, will continue to firm up as it chills.
