Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 mL) skim milk

  • 3 Tbsp (45 mL) unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) Truvía® calorie-free sweetener spoonable*

  • Dash of cinnamon

  • Variation: Try adding 18 tsp (.625 mL) of salt to enhance the chocolate flavor in this recipe. Nutrition facts adjustment: add 147mg sodium.

Directions

    Assemble all ingredients.

  • 2.

    Mix together Truvía® calorie-free sweetener and cocoa powder in a small saucepan; add milk and whisk until blended.

  • 3.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring to prevent scorching, until very hot. Do not boil.

  • 4.

    Serve in mugs and top with a dash of cinnamon.
