Tuna Macaroni Salad with Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend

  • 4 cups (960 mL) rotini whole grain-cooked (2 cups/475 mL dry)

  • 13 cup (80 mL) diced, washed celery

  • 14 cup (60 mL) dice, washed onion

  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) diced, washed fresh parsley

  • 5 oz light tuna in water

  • 6 washed and sliced cherry tomatoes

  • 12 cup aioli flavored mayonnaise with Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend

  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) low-fat sour cream

  • 12 tsp (2.5 mL) salt

  • 14 tsp (1.25 mL) pepper


  • 1.

    Cook rotini following directions on package.

  • 2.

    In a large bowl, combine cooked rotini, celery, onion, parsley, tuna and tomatoes. Mix well.

  • 3.

    In a small bowl, whisk together aioli-flavored mayonnaise, mustard, Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend, sour cream, salt and pepper.

  • 4.

    Pour the dressing over the salad and stir until mixed well.

  • 5.

    Cover and chill 1-2 hours before serving.

  • 6.

    Store any remaining salad covered in the refrigerator.

*This recipe has 4 grams of sugar per serving, compared to the full-sugar version that has 7 grams of sugar per serving.
